ANALYZERS AND PROCESS CONTROL
PSI 200™ particle size instrument has become the industry standard for slurry particle size measurement in mineral processing plants. The measured size range is from 20microns to 600microns and the measured particle size can be used for on-line process control.
PSI 500™ advanced slurry particle size analyzer complements the industry standard PSI 200™ instrument in wide distribution and fine particle size measurement applications. The measured particle size can be used for on-line process and quality control. The measured size range is from 1micron to 600microns.
MillSense™ is an innovative, non-contact analyzer for grinding mills providing real-time information about the mill charge and the grinding process. In addition to the charge volume, MillSense™ can also estimate the ball charge, liner wear and grinding media trajectories, which can be used to further optimize the circuit.
FrothMaster™ 2 froth analyzer system is a third generation tool for real-time froth analysis in flotation machines. The FrothMaster™ system measures several essential properties of froth appearance including froth speed, bubble size, froth stability and froth color, and provides data related to these variables.
Courier® 5SL on-stream XRF slurry analyzer is an air-cooled on-stream elemental analyzer for up to 12 slurry samples. Sampling, analysis and sample return are fully automatic and do not require operator attendance.
Courier® 6SL high-performance on-stream XRF slurry analyzer is a new generation air cooled on-stream elemental analyzer for one to 18 (24 maximum) slurry samples. Sampling, analysis and sample return are fully automatic and do not require operator attendance.
Courier® 5 HX on-stream XRF solution analyzer is for clear solutions and those containing solids with relatively high concentrations. Typical applications are in metal plating and solvent extraction.
Courier® 6 HX high performance on-stream XRF solution analyzer is for clear solutions and those containing solids with low concentrations. Typical applications are in copper, zinc, cobalt and nickel hydrometallurgy.
Courier® 5 DX dry stream analyzer is used for XRF analysis of heavy minerals and smelter feed.
Slurry sampling and custom designed sampling systems - there is a wide variety of proven Outotec primary samplers for all typical situations. Examples of primary sampler designs are: launder box cutter samplers LSA and NLA, pressure pipe samplers PSA and multi-stage metallurgical MS samplers. Sampling systems are custom designed using standard modules.
PROSCON® advanced automation solutions make inroads in the industry improving mineral and metals processing performance. Open process automation platforms range from entry level PROSCON® Lite to full PROSCON® 2100 NT system. Number of I/O can range from tens to thousands.
